VMWare Fusion Tech Preview 2013 - VM's don't switch to full screen mode when running mult-monitor display on OS X Mavericks 10.9 DP6 Host

Hi guys,

I understand the tech preview of VMWare Fusion 6 was released prior to Mavericks being announced, but thought I'd post about this issue I'm experiencing with the preview (as well as Fusion 5.0.3) when running guest OS's in Fullscreen mode on the host. I have also looked to see if this has already been mentioned, but couldn't find much in relation to this.

Issue:

When running the guest OS (either Windows or OS X), switching to full screen mode on a Mavericks host with multiple monitors and the default Mission Control setting of 'Displays have Separate Spaces', the menubar of the host OS remains active on the display, rather than disappearing as would happen with any other app being switched to full screen mode (i.e. Terminal.app).

See the movie I've attached for what I mean.

Per the video, switching to fullscreen mode, the Mac OS X menu bar is not hidden away as it would normally happen when switching other apps to fullscreen mode (i.e. Terminal, Pages, etc).

In this instance, the VM is running on a second screen (not the primary external screen). I can replicate this behaviour on all screens attached (three+laptop screen).

Also in this video, enabling/disabling the "Hide Menu Bar in Full Screen" option did not work, although it has worked on the primary external screen attached to the laptop.

Expected Behaviour:

Switching to full screen mode auto hides the Menu bar and behaves as per normal fullscreen mode switching behaviour.

Host hardware & OS & VMWare Fusion version:

MacBook Pro Retina model 10,1 running three external displays via DisplayPort & HDMI

Mac OS X Mavericks OS X 10.9 (13A558) DP6

VMWare Fusion 6 Technology Preview Professional Version e.x.p (1243148)
