Don't know if this is doable, valid, or just plain couldn't find it in the documentation....
I want to not download patches for versions I don't need. If using the UMDS, you can type vmware-umds.exe -S -d esx-4.0.0 esx-4.1.0 embeddedEsx-4.0.0 embeddedEsx-4.1.0 embedded-eEsx-5.0.0 and it will keep those versions from downloading.
Now... browsing through the vci-integrity.xml file (In XX:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\Infrastructure\Update Manager\) , i noticed something similar. Notably...
My thinking is that if I delete the lines I don't need I should accomplish this. Or maybe, I should change it to hostExlude or something similar.
Anyone?
