ok I think I have the correct logs finally! I had to copy and paste the text from the VMware.log as it was too large to upload. It covers the 16th - 17th July and so does the vpxd.log.
FYI, there are a lot of entries in the log that show "conflict: guest application toolbox-dnd tried to register, but it is still registered on channel". I have stopped these occurring now. There is a VMware KB about the issue.
Please let me know if you need any more info.
